The Lithoflora pendant was created to embody the deeper sense of a flower. While it is not a depiction of any species in particular, it represents the alluring nature that flowers possess. There is an unseen, intangible presence that pulls creatures to them, and I wanted to capture that in stone. The flower is carved in nephrite jade, unfurling to reveal its interior. At the center rests a 54 carat kunzite surrounded by multi-tiered ombre pavé of ruby and sapphire set in platinum. Emanating from deep within is a swirling and eddying cloud of the purest rock crystal, the spirit of the flower. The crystal grows around the central stone, capturing light and morphing it into varying shapes. On the reverse, golden tendrils set with sapphires extend from between the jade petals.
